Fix label printer alignment

If the whole label grid prints consistently too far left, right, up or down, measure the offset and save a correction for that printer and paper setup.

Check scaling before changing the offset

Print at Actual size / 100%, with Fit to page disabled. Check the paper size, orientation and layout measurements first. If the error grows further down or across the sheet, check scaling and gaps rather than applying a single offset.

Print and measure a calibration page

  1. Open Print → Printer alignment & calibration.
  2. Download the free calibration page and print it on plain paper using the same printer, tray and settings you will use for labels.
  3. Measure the printed top-left cross from the paper’s left and top edges. Where space permits, the page includes a 100 mm ruler for a scaling check.
  4. Enter the measured positions, give the profile a useful name and choose Save and apply calibration.
  5. Run a plain-paper test against your label stock before printing the final sheet.

Keep profiles for the setups you use

A profile is associated with its paper size and orientation. Name it for the printer, tray and paper combination. Manual offset edits detach the selected profile; incompatible paper changes reset the alignment settings.

Profiles stay in this browser and in saved projects. Use Back up profile to move a profile to another browser. Calibration PDFs are free and do not use your PDF export allowance.

For a complete size check, follow the actual-size printing guide.
