Print labels at actual size
Your PDF is sized for the paper dimensions in PixoLabel. The print dialog must preserve that size for the artwork to line up with your label stock.
Use these print settings
- Check the paper size and orientation in PixoLabel against the stock you are loading.
- Download the PDF and open it in a PDF viewer.
- Choose Actual size or set the scale to 100%. Names differ between viewers.
- Turn off Fit to page, shrink-to-fit and any other automatic scaling. Select one PDF page per physical sheet.
- Choose the matching paper size, tray and a media type supported by your printer and stock.
Test on plain paper first
Print a sample and compare it with the label sheet. Check the first and last rows and columns, not just the first label. Keep the paper orientation consistent.
A consistent shift usually calls for printer alignment calibration. A mismatch that increases across the page can indicate scaling, incorrect gaps or incorrect label dimensions.
Check the final artwork
Keep important text inside the label edge. Bleed is limited by paper edges and neighbouring labels; the preview distinguishes the label edge from available bleed. Template outlines can be included for a test, but turn them off when they are not wanted in the finished print.
Your printer’s printable area and paper-feed accuracy still matter. Follow the printer and label stock instructions and test each new setup.
