Print on a partly used label sheet

Tell PixoLabel which labels are already missing from your first sheet. Your designs fill the remaining available positions.

Mark positions that should stay blank

  1. Set up the correct sheet and add your designs and quantities.
  2. Open Print → Use a partly used sheet, or choose Mark positions not to print above the preview.
  3. Select each unavailable position. You can use the keyboard as well as a pointer.
  4. Review the first sheet. Reset the marks when you start with a fresh sheet.

How the remaining labels are allocated

The used positions apply to the first sheet only. Any remaining quantity continues on fresh sheets. For example, if a 15-position sheet has three used positions, it has 12 available positions. A job of 15 labels uses those 12 positions and three positions on the next sheet.

If every position is marked used, select a fresh sheet or clear at least one mark before exporting. Changing the sheet geometry clears the used-position marks so they do not carry over to a different layout.

Check whether your stock can be fed again

Follow your printer and label supplier’s instructions before feeding a partly used sheet. Only reuse stock that remains suitable for your printer. Check the orientation, test on plain paper and use Actual size / 100% printing.

Save a .pixolabel project to retain the job’s sheet settings and used-position marks.
